Flat Solar Mirror is widely used in both of tower power technology and linear fresnel technology in the CSP field.
1. Tower power technology: a lot of heliostats which are composed of solar mirrors reflecting and concentrating the solar radiation to the heat collector in the top of tower, heating up transferred fluid(water/fused salt/air) and producing high-temperature steam directly and indirectly, and drive the power generator to produce electricity.
2. Linear Fresnel Technology: a lot of rows of flat solar mirrors which are driven on the single axis track reflect and concentrate the solar radiation of the sunshine onto the heat collector pipes paralleling to the solar mirrors' field, heating up the transferred fluid inside the pipes to produce steam and drive the steam turbine to generate electricity.
